During my tenure at the Mathematics and Science Education Network in Chapel Thrill after grad school, I wrote policy puff pieces on science education (originally published as a Point of View column in the Raleigh News & Observer) and reported on topics such as Laboratory Safety as an editor for the Golden Mean.
